Cheshire Packaging use speciality materials to create innovative and bespoke display packaging solutions for leading UK brands.
For this brief we designed a range of modular boxes and show cards. Thin veneers of three colour screen printed wood were laminated to E flute corrugated packaging. The corrugated board was then die cut to shape and glued where required.
Materials – Wood veneer and E flute corrugated board.
Printing – three colour screen print.
We can create game boards using four colour prints mounted on to 2mm grey board. We can then pack the boards and other parts into suitable outers all designed to meet your requirements and budget.
We create many varied seasonal packaging lines from advent calendars, crackers and Easter egg display boxes, to bespoke confectionery packs for Valentine’s Day, Mothers day or Father’s Day.
A wide range of materials can be used in the manufacture of the packs from box board and corrugated board, to foam and PVC. Finishing touches such as ribbon ties can be added to give display boxes and packaging that extra special look.
Window packs use a combination of E flute corrugated, box board and PVC film and are ideal choices for those looking for display boxes which showcase products completely. This packaging design provides maximum visibility whilst giving good protection and an attractive, eye catching finish.

We designed this point of purchase packaging display to dispense the customer’s product in a simple space-saving way. The unit was fully erected in-house and was delivered as a complete unit. It uses gravity to dispense the product; as one item is taken from the bottom, the next one drops down.
Material – E flute corrugated board.
Printing – four colour process with a matt film laminate.
Cheshire Packaging can design and supply a range of high quality paper over board (covered display boxes). We can use magnets to close the boxes and the contents inside can be housed in neat die cut foam if required for complete protection.
Material – 1700 or 2000 micron Dutch grey board lined with 170gsm paper.
Printing – four colour process with matt or gloss film lamination.
We can design and create various products from polypropylene sheets. Polypropylene is a highly durable material that is ideal for display boxes and folders when longevity is required.
Materials – 1200 and 800 micron polypropylene.
Printing – digital, screen or four colour process litho.
Corrugated Plastic (Correx)
Corrugated plastic or Correx is an excellent material option when packaging is to be returned and re-used. Although the initial costs will be higher than conventional corrugated packaging, it becomes cost effective over the longer term. As with most materials supplied by Cheshire Packaging, the polypropylene used in the manufacture of this material can be fully recycled when the packaging finally reaches the end of its life.
For the brief we created a set of conductive plastic corrugated cell dividers to sit inside a standard tote box.
Material – 3.5/550 plastic corrugated.
Can be screen or digitally printed if required.
If you require packaging that needs to be used for several trips or to store components within your manufacturing operation, plastic corrugated tote boxes can be an ideal solution. we can design internal dividers in the same material or use foam inserts for delicate items.
Many of the packs we supply include a range of different materials from polypropylene to rigid cardboard. We will offer advice on the best materials & substrates to meet your individual needs.
